Justine, born in Essex in 1989 and now currently living in Surrey, is studying for her BA (hons) degree in Graphic Design.

From an early age, she had been enthusiastic about the arts and crafts and had grown up around photography. Although not a professional himself, her grandad was a major influence with her interest in cameras, always armed with a film camera or video camera capturing those family moments. At an early age, she was given her first film compact camera, which grew to develop into digital as times went on and eventually got an DSLR.

Having grown up with a metalhead uncle who is also a guitarist, and played for various bands, Justine found herself being heavily influenced when it came to music and this is still very present today. After years of going to gigs with a little compact camera and wishing to be one of the people down the front taking the photos, Justine finally decided to mix her love of music and photography and began shooting at a small London venue in January this year. Having only been shooting for a short period of time, things began to pick up quite suddenly. She has covered a selection of bands already for various online zines, and has already covered some of the major music festivals, as well as interviewing some of her favourite artists.

Now shooting for a couple of webzines, Justne hopes to further her experience within the industry and plans to eventually photography band promotional images for bands, and also model portfolios. She is also very fortunate to be assisting one of her favourite photographers in the industry.
