Justine, born in Essex in 1989 is a freelance photographer who specialises in Fashion, Music & Portraiture. From an early age, she had been enthusiastic about the arts and crafts, excelling the most in those areas at school. Going into college, Justine studied Art & Design before specialising in Graphic Design when moving to her National Diploma. Photography had always played an important role along side her Graphic Design studies, but it was mainly treated as a hobby. This changed when Justine went to study Graphic Design at degree level, and her enthusiasm for studying the subject deteriorated and her passion for photography became more apparent. After completing two years of her degree, it was decided that leaving the course would be the best option due to lack of enthusiasm for the subject matter and also the university surroundings, instead Justine left with a Diploma in Higher Education which she hopes to top up to a degree in photography later on. Her love of music stems from her childhood, having an uncle who has influenced her greatly with music and bands. After years of buying music magazines admiring the live review sections, and going to concerts armed with a compact camera, it felt only natural for Justine to fuse her two passions, Photography & Music. At the start of 2011, Justine moved into Fashion photography, working with both commercial and alternative models, and hopes to develop more in this area. She currently has ongoing projects, and is lucky enough to be shooting for various webzines, and is collaborating with designers. She is also fortunate enough to be assisting one of her favourite photographers in music, who she followed through her teens.
